The Stepping Stones Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization that inspires recovery by preserving for the public the historic home and archives of Alcoholics Anonymous Cofounder Bill Wilson and Al-Anon Family Groups Cofounder Lois Wilson in Katonah, New York. The National Historic Landmark home is privately-run through the generous support of friends like you. The foundation preserves 10,000 objects, 100,000 manuscripts, 8.17 acres, 6 structures, and offers tours and programs.
Stepping Stones is the major repository of the biographical material of the Wilsons. Bill W. was listed in Time and Life magazines as one of the 100 influentials of the last century for his writing of the 12-Step recovery program and cofounding of A.A.
